The unit of measure is the head. In the short story you use the eight heads like standard measurement. Its necessary you learn by memory up to where each part of the body goes guiding yourself with the painting we drew you (Fig. 1). . It doesn’t matter if the drawing is correct, it isn’t what matters now.
The matter is to learn by memory the measurements and get used to drawing correctly the proportions of each part of the body. Later and once you get used to this you will be capable to “see” when a drawing is wrong, regular o good and then you will be able to deform these proportions at your liking to adapt them to the style that you prefer to develop. It doesn’t matter if it’s sleeve, American or European comic. They are called this way because each one has proper characteristics that define them like also the possibility to combine styles some of which adds followers each day.

If the figure we suggest you is difficult for now, try doing it simpler like the model we present you in figure 2. Remember the figure is a guide because ahead (after practicing enough) we are going to leave it aside and go to intuitive work.
