We are not only going to achieve looseness in the trace and the management of the proportions using our “articulate figure”, we are also going to learn how to sketch a figure with spontaneity and starting to know the basis of what we call RHYTHM. The rhythm sensation is extremely important in the figure drawing: A flow of continuous lines that are linked with others creating a sense of unity and composition with constant practice can elevate you ability in a high grade. When a drawing looks like “blocked” it’s because of the lack of flow in the disorder of the line and the cross of perimeters. That’s why we say it’s a drawing that is correct in proportion but has lack of rhythm. It’s a hard drawing. The line of action is the first step to later study and understand these concepts. You have to dedicate time and attention.
