Lesson 5
¿What do we see when we see something? (It doesn’t matter if it’s a person or a determined object) Answer: We see everything and each data that this image brings us this makes us want to draw it on paper. So much information can confuse us, lots of lines, and lots of elements. Too many names and details! Like Ingres used to say (one of the greatest painters of Renaissance) to his disciples: “details are bad mannered which you have to teach manners”. ¡Those details have to be eliminated! …Well, or at least leave them at the moment aside so it won’t bother us to draw and put them later. First, the big forms later the decoration.
